| dPict Imaging the Newest Member of TI Third Party Network | |||||||
| August 15, 2006, Indianapolis, IN – dPict Imaging announced today that it had been accepted to the Texas Instruments (TI) Third Party Program. The TI Third Party Program is a network of companies that offer goods and services that support TI DSPs. The acceptance into TI’s Third Party Program will provide for a greater level of support, and continues dPict Imaging’s strategy to utilize TI DSP products into unique image acquisition products. By leveraging the DSP into dVeloper Foundation SDK, dPict is able to provide much greater flexibility in video related functions. dPict now plans to extend the dVeloper Foundation SDK with the addition of user defined functions. A user will be able to develop DSP code with TI DSP tools and use those functions with existing dPict drivers, making for a powerful combination in DSP platform development.
